Noir by Ryan Mettz is a limited-edition collaboration between Sad Eyewear and Ryan Mettz, a Brooklyn-based tattooer, oil painter, air brusher, and skater whose work captures the visual chaos and quiet moments of everyday city life. Based out of Greenpoint Tattoo Co., Ryan’s artistic practice spans bodies, canvases, and streets.

This exclusive colorway, designed by Ryan features an Espresso frame and Tinted Olive Lenses, styalized with interior engravings and a silver skull engraving on the temple tip.

SILVER LINE takes comfort, craftsmanship and confidence - cuts them up and pieces them together into a wearable statement. Our frames are custom cut into our distinct, balanced designs from a single piece of high grade, plant-based acetate, then structurally enforced with metal core temples and barrel hinges for a glove like fit that will form to you individually.

We’ve added in premium, polarized and custom tinted UV400 lenses giving our shades their unique perspective - making SADs appropriate for sun blocking or to add an indoor hue. Additionally, we’ve added our signature stainless steel “cut” inlay and style specific, silver foiled engravings for a SAD branded finish.

The devils in the details, and we take fine measure that the details in our forward yet timeless designs are true to our brand and standard of craftmanship.

Return shipping costs will be deducted from your refund, and original shipping fees are non-refundable. Sale items are final sale and only eligible for store credit within the return period.
